Extra – How to Change the Video Playback Speed

There can be times when it is useful to be able to scan a video quickly, for example when a teacher has to remind herself of the video contents during lesson preparation. This video demonstrates the effect of speeding up video playback to 1.25, 1.5 and 2 times the original video playback speed, as well as showing the effect on the narrator’s voice of the changed video speed.

We have also observed that sometimes students prefer a slower playback speed when they are following a sample robot build.  The effect of slowing a video to 0.7, 0.5 and 0.25 of the original video playback speed is demonstrated, as well as showing the effect on the narrator’s voice of the changed video speed.
