We next want to find out how to add some intelligence to our robot by using “sensors”. Sensors allow our robots to see the difference between light and shade, distinguish colours, see if a wall is near, for example. Sensors are built in to some LEGO pieces, and we will build some of these pieces into YayaBot. This third robot, YayaBot, will be a good shape for us to experiment by taking sensors on and off it. We will use a sensor to help our Robot stay within a dark ring. Let’s start!
